How to open and close your clicker

Because gold is a soft metal, our clickers are built with a bit of extra resistance at the closure - on purpose, not a flaw. It's what keeps the piece securely shut. To close, gently push the bar inward until it clicks into place; a little resistance is normal. To open, gently pull it back apart at the hinge.

To keep your jewelry looking new, bright, and free from body oil and cosmetic products which leaves residue behind, and could cause the stones to be enclosed in the dirt, take a soft-headed brush with some soap and gently brush the stones and metal after all the dirt is removed wash off all of the soap with water. Ultrasonic cleaning is not recommended for cleaning jewelry with emerald or opal as high heat can damage these stones. For best results purchase a polishing cloth specifically made for jewelry.

This nose ring is beautiful!! Very high quality and sturdy clicker mechanism. My only complaint which is less a complaint and more just a personal issue is it fits more tightly than other 6mm diameter rings i have had and can sometimes be painful to wear. But if you have a smaller septum it would likely fit perfectly fine i just dont think i accounted for the largeness of the opal and the side stones making it a tighter fit. But it really is a wonderful product.
