How to open and close your clicker

Because gold is a soft metal, our clickers are built with a bit of extra resistance at the closure - on purpose, not a flaw. It's what keeps the piece securely shut. To close, gently push the bar inward until it clicks into place; a little resistance is normal. To open, gently pull it back apart at the hinge.

To keep your jewelry looking new, bright, and free from body oil and cosmetic products which leaves residue behind, and could cause the stones to be enclosed in the dirt, take a soft-headed brush with some soap and gently brush the stones and metal after all the dirt is removed wash off all of the soap with water. Ultrasonic cleaning is not recommended for cleaning jewelry with emerald or opal as high heat can damage these stones. For best results purchase a polishing cloth specifically made for jewelry.

I absolutely love this piece! It’s simple and still elegant and well made - the only reason I’m not giving a perfect five star is that for some reason it’s made with grooves / etching on the inside of the ring (the part that actually get inserted into your nose and touches skin) which is very irritating to the skin. I’ve never seen this on a septum ring, usually this part of the ring is absolutely smooth since it gets inserted into your body.

Because of that, I believe this ring is better for short term use only - a fun night out or for some photos etc, not for long term, every day wear.
